Output Options

As a rule of thumb ten slides are equivalent to about one minute of video. To estimate the overall length of your video montage take the total number of slides to be transferred and divide that number by 10. The result is the estimated length in minutes. Normally 300 pictures will give you a 25-30 minute video show. As many as 1200 slides will fit onto a standard length T-120 (two hour long) videotape.

If the montage is to be shown continuously (as in a trade show), we can run the montage out repeatedly onto a two or three hour looping videotape. This means that no one will have to watch for the tape to end; then rewind and press play for each cycle of the montage. Nine hour looping tapes available for trade shows and other commercial applications are recorded in SLP mode.

Computer Files and Color Prints

Digitized images can also be output on our high resolution color printers or we can save these images for you in the popular computer file formats:  "gif", "jpg" and "bmp".  You can then view and edit them with your home or office computer, email them or make copies on diskette.

DVD Archive

Your photo montage can be transferred to DVD. Producing a DVD does involve additional  cost. The benefits are that DVD offers exceptional audio and video quality and a long term preservation of the video images. DVD life expectancy is 100+ years.
